Kenny Neo
I’m Kenny Neo, founder and Managing Director of a growing plumbing company known for integrity, technical excellence, and client-focused service. My journey in plumbing began in 1987 at 17, driven by a hands-on passion for problem-solving and a commitment to practical, lasting solutions. After national service, I returned to my uncle’s company as a site foreman, where I built a solid foundation in plumbing systems and field leadership.
Over the years, I pursued night courses to deepen my technical expertise, earning my licensed plumber status at 28. Under my uncle’s mentorship, I advanced to project management, coordinating diverse projects and delivering results through meticulous planning, effective teamwork, and a relentless focus on quality.
An entrepreneurial chapter followed, as I led project leadership initiatives and explored starting a business with a former partner. Although that venture did not endure, the experience strengthened my strategic thinking and resilience.
In 2019, I co-found K & J Engineering with my current partner Mr Liang Jie. The collaboration quickly gained traction, establishing a strong market presence and a reputation for reliability, quality workmanship, and on-time delivery across multiple project types.
Today, I lead a team that prioritizes integrity, technical excellence, and a client-first mindset. Our success is grounded in:

Liang Jie
I’m Liang Jie, Director and Co-Founder of K & J Engineering Pte Ltd, with more than 15 years of experience in construction management, plumbing, sanitary, gas, and infrastructure projects across Singapore. My career began in 2011 after completing my Diploma in Property Development and Facility Management from Singapore Polytechnic, followed by a Bachelor in Construction Management from RMIT University.
Starting as a Quantity Surveyor and Drafter, I gained hands-on experience in project planning, cost control, technical coordination, and site execution. Through dedication and continuous learning, I progressed into project management roles, leading multidisciplinary teams and delivering complex plumbing and sanitary engineering projects for commercial, industrial, residential, healthcare, and infrastructure developments.
Throughout my career, I have successfully managed projects involving worker dormitories, MRT infrastructure, COVID-19 temporary facilities, commercial developments, nursing homes, factories, and large-scale building developments. My responsibilities include coordinating with consultants, authorities, architects, contractors, and suppliers to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
As a Singapore Registered Licensed Plumber, I combine technical expertise with practical project leadership. My professional qualifications also include Building Construction Safety Management, Working at Height Supervision, Confined Space Assessment, and Registered Earthwork Supervision. These certifications allow me to maintain strong standards in safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across all projects.
In 2019, I co-founded K & J Engineering Pte Ltd with Mr. Kenny Neo. Together, we built a company recognized for reliability, technical excellence, and client-focused service. Under my leadership, the company has expanded its portfolio across both temporary and permanent developments while maintaining a strong commitment to quality workmanship and timely project delivery.
